Honey Dipper Lamp

An intuitive, multipurpose table lamp that fits the aesthetic of mawa in Potsdam, Germany. The lamp is inspired by honey dippers. The design explores the use of layered shades affecting the light and shadow. The design is aluminum powder-coated gold except for the battery powered lighting elements. The lamp was made in Fusion 360 and the table with environment is made in Blender.

In ideation, I made multiple sketches exploring different methods of shape and style before I arrived at my theme of a Honey Dipper.

I arrived at designing a lamp that was made out of punched aluminum or multiple stacked shades. mawa decided that they enjoyed the Honey Dipper theme as it was new and innovative.
